US stock market holidays may differ from other exchanges. The NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange, for example, are closed on Thanksgiving. Stock exchanges may be closed on different days, depending on the country. Make sure to be aware of the London Stock Exchange holidays if you trade on the LSE. Stock markets may also close for a certain period of time during the day. This is also known as an early closing of the stock markets. For example, on New Year’s Eve, the LSE closes early at 12:30 (local time).
When is ESKIMO closed?
You can log into your ESKIMO account at any time, even when exchanges are closed. Our Service Desk, however, is available by phone or e-mail from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. CET, with the exception of the days on which London Stock exchange (LSE) and the American markets are closed. For 2020 these days are:
- Wednesday, January 1, 2020 (New Year's Day)
- Friday, April 10, 2020 (Good Friday)
- Friday, December 25, 2020 (Christmas Day)
On certain days London Stock Exchange is closed, but American markets are open. Therefore our service desk is also available by phone from 3:30 pm. to 10 pm. CET, on the following days:
- Monday, April 13, 2020 (Easter Monday)
- Friday, May 8, 2020 (Early May Bank Holiday)
- Monday, August 31, 2020 (Summer Bank Holiday)
